IronBridge is a steel fabrication shop with its own field erection crews. Stairs, rails, platforms, canopies and structural frames — drawn, cut, welded, finished and set by the same company.

The shop

Saws, drills, a cutting table, fit-up tables and welding bays. Pieces are checked against shop drawings before they leave the floor.

The field

Our erection crews set what our shop built. When a piece doesn’t fit, the people who made it are a phone call away.

On fabrication

Steel is unforgiving about measurements. The work is getting every hole, cope and plate right on the floor, so nothing has to be torched and re-welded forty feet in the air.

That is why we keep fabrication and erection under one roof. Our field foremen see shop drawings before they are released. Our fitters hear about every field fix. The feedback loop is short, and it shows in how the steel goes up.

We work for general contractors, builders and owners on commercial and light-industrial buildings, and on the stairs, rails and platforms that every building needs and nobody wants to wait on.

Careers

Welders, fitters and ironworkers.

Shop careers on the floor, field careers on the steel. Both start with craft.
